Today is World Poetry Day. And here is my attempt at one.
You are a gift
That causes a shift
And fixes every rift. 😃
This was a tough one
But once it got done
It was fun, fun, fun.

Aap aaye toh bahaar aayi,
Aapne likha toh hum sabko bhayi,
Bat-cat-mat kya, aap candy-brandy pe hi likhiye,
Aapki shaayri hai sachmuch lajawab. Sigh!

Joking aside, was the prompt ‘sizzles on my tongue’? I really enjoyed the transitions from the funny to the serious to the sad to the joyful. And it all came together so beautifully. You are very talented, my friend!
