It is sad and funny how I love and hate lists but I hadn’t realized it until I read this. I love lists by witty and poetic people (like you) but I’m tired of prescriptive and repetitive lists, even if I’m the one writing them. One trick I did is write a list essay and then remove the numbers. Nobody found out. 🤗
